Enzo Calvayrac, facilitator at the Joséphine-Baker school in Saint-Jean, is also a key player for Union Saint-Jean, currently in the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. A few days before an exceptional match against AS Monaco, he shares his journey and his emotions. A passionate person at the heart of the action: “I have also played football since the age of five, in Mazamet where I I grew up,” he explains. His role as facilitator allows him to transmit his values, both on the field and with the students. An extraordinary season. This year marks a turning point for his team. “Last season, we played our part in a final decisive match. Today, it is both exhilarating and stressful, but above all a source of great pride. It pushes us to surpass ourselves,” confides Enzo.L he euphoria felt by the Coupe de France journey goes beyond the field. “Videos of the matches and the draw have circulated, and the children at school often call on me,” he says with a smile. For Enzo, it is also an opportunity to discuss sporting values: “I explain to them the importance of the collective and of believing in their dreams. Their support is very touching.”
A real collective momentum. Beyond the children, enthusiasm spreads throughout Saint-Jean. “I would like to thank everyone who encourages us: the students, their parents, my colleagues, the town hall, and the residents. Their energy is incredible.”
