Thursday, December 12, 2024, the last municipal council of the year took place in Cléguérec. Among the subjects discussed, there was that of renewable energy acceleration zones.
Yes to photovoltaics
The subject of renewable energy acceleration zones was already presented in March 2024. A consultation then took place with the population from April 2 to 30.
Xavier Robin, deputy, spoke about certain figures concerning the municipality: consumption which would be 66 GWH per year compared to production estimated at 7.1 GWH (11%). The objective specified in the PCAET (Territorial Climate-Air-Energy Plan) of Pontivy Community is to locally produce 50% of the energy consumed by 2030 before reaching 100% in 2050.
For these ZAE, theinstallation of photovoltaic panelsin all its forms, has been approved. On the contrary, the majority of the council is against the installation of wind turbines in these areas, as is methanization.
A project at a place called Le Ruéo
It is therefore in this sense that the municipality has just transfer a plot of 850 m2 to the Luxel company (which is part of EDF Renewables), at a place called Le Ruéo. This project leader wishes to install a ground-based photovoltaic production plant there.
Knowing that he has five years to exercise the long-term lease option (project study and preparation phase). An agreed long lease of 22 years (extendable by five years, four times maximum). The amount of the annual fee owed by the company is €2,000 excluding tax.
Note a unilateral promise to purchase developed in a notarial deed. The Luxel company undertakes to acquire the land, paying the municipality 50 000 € HT.
Purchase of electricity for the nursing home
During this council, the mayor, Marc Ropers, also informed the assembly that discussions are underway with the company See You Sun. As a reminder, this project leader installed photovoltaic panels at the association center, technical services, bowling alley and tennis court.
The municipality is therefore considering the opportunity to acquire electricity produced by these shade houses. The proposed rate would a priori be 15 cents per kilowatt, a price significantly lower than that of the current market. The municipality will therefore launch a consultation on this purchase of electricity for supply the nursing home and the nursing home.
