During a live broadcast on Twitch, Booba violently denigrated Léon Marchand and his exploits at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with particularly vulgar terms. His statements sparked outrage among Internet users.
The king of clash Booba strikes again… but it was a big flop! Known for his killer punchlines and his arm wrestling with public figures like Magali Berdah and Kaaris, the 48-year-old rapper this time attacked an Olympic champion who made us all vibrate during the Paris Olympics: the swimmer Léon Marchand, quadruple gold medalist. “There isn’t an athlete that interests me. We don’t give a damn about swimming,” he vulgarly said in a Twitch live organized by content creator Pfut.

Internet users outraged by Booba’s comments
“It’s like water polo or pétanque,” added Booba. When Pfut reacted by telling him that Léon Marchand was certainly following this live, the rapper upped his game with this mockery: “Already, it’s a swimmer called Marchand…”. A little play on words considered “pitiful” and “disrespectful” by many Internet users connected to the live. “Léon Marchand has done more for France at the Olympics than Booba in his entire career,” reacted one of them in the comments under the video. “This guy is so embarrassing, plus Jul is better than him,” added another.
During the live, Booba revealed some lyrics from one of his next songs which tackles footballer Kylian Mbappé. “You don’t have a license like Kyky from Bondy,” he sings in this track. New proof that the rapper really does not have athletes in his heart.
