War in Ukraine: “lack of respect”, “humiliation”, the Ukrainian president reveals videos where Russian soldiers burn the faces of North Koreans who died in combat

On his X account, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky published a post in which he revealed videos where Russian soldiers burned the faces of North Korean soldiers who died in combat. Russia “disrespects everything human,” he wrote.

This Monday, December 16, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denounced on his X account what could be new abuses by Russian soldiers against… North Korean military.

In his post, he states that the Russian army burns their faces when they died in combat.

“They tried to hide the presence of North Korean soldiers. It was forbidden to show their faces during training. The Russians tried to erase any video trace of their presence. And now, after the first battles with our warriors, the Russians are trying… to literally burning the faces of North Korean soldiers killed in combat”, he wrote before denouncing a “lack of respect” and one “humiliation” from Moscow.

The latter also reiterated his desire to end the war with a “reliable and lasting peace”.

Even after years of war, when we thought the Russians could not get any more cynical, we see something even worse.

Russia not only sends the North Korean troops to storm Ukrainian positions, but also tries to conceal losses of these people.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian army still faces the Russians in the Kursk region where she made an incursion on August 6.

But now, Moscow has since obtained support from Pyongyang after the deployment of North Korean soldiers in Russia. Recently, Kyiv announced that at least 30 of these soldiers had died during clashes, during the weekend of December 14 and 15 last year around the villages de Plekhovo, Vorojba et Martynovka.

This Tuesday, December 17, Ukrainian special operations forces indicated on Telegram, taken up by KyivPost, that 50 North Korean soldiers were killed and 47 others injured in three days. Armored equipment and vehicles were also reportedly destroyed.
