The populations of Medadha and Ouacheria, two douars in the scattered area of Hemadna, capital of Daïra and located some 30 miles east of Relizane, will undoubtedly keep good memories of the commemoration of the 64th anniversary of the demonstrations of 11 December 1960.
Indeed, on this day, the authorities monitored the connection operation to the city gas network for the benefit of no less than 243 households in this gray area. “We are very satisfied to be here today for the inauguration of these two projects which are part of the programs initiated to improve the living environment of citizens in accordance with the guidelines of the President of the Republic who grants “particular importance to the promotion of the rural environment,” he said.
These commemorative festivities were also marked by other stops at the level of the communes of the wilaya and closed by the laying of the first stones of structuring projects and the inauguration of others. Thus, the education sector has benefited from several projects able to strengthen its reception capacities since the wali of Relizane proceeded to lay the first stone for the construction of two high schools, two middle schools and 7 school groups and also inaugurated three school canteens to serve hot meals to learners.
Health was also highly rated since the two new health centers of Mendès and Ammi Moussa were equipped with modern equipment for ophthalmology and hemodialysis services while other structures were received after their rehabilitation. It is also important to highlight the launch of work to build a 4-star hotel in Belhacel.
This private investment will constitute reinforcement for the wilaya which suffers from a glaring lack of establishments of this type.
