Four days after the quintuple murder that occurred on Saturday in the North, near Dunkirk, the public prosecutor of Dunkirk, Charlotte Huet, held a press conference this Tuesday evening to detail how the events unfolded. She announced that the suspect had been indicted for “murder”against three of his victims, namely his ex-employer and two security agents, and “murders” for the two people of Iranian nationality killed.
The alleged killer, aged 22, was taken into custody after presenting himself to the gendarmerie in Ghyvelde (North) on Saturday around 5:20 p.m., two hours after the first murder. An investigation was opened to “murders preceded, accompanied or followed by another crime” et “acquisition, possession, carrying and transport of category A and B weapons”acts punishable by life imprisonment. According to the magistrate this Tuesday evening, “the first person killed in Wormhout was the suspect’s former employer”she said. The next two victims were security guards.
