Sudden death despite monitored health
On August 7, 2024, Patrice Laffont died of cardiac arrest in his residence in Vaucluse. A disappearance that surprised many of his relatives, especially since the host had undergone a series of medical examinations shortly before leaving on vacation, without anything alarming being detected.He had all his tests done, well a lot of heart tests before he went on vacation, and they were all good.“, confided his son Fabrice during the show “Face à Hanouna” on C8. For Fabrice Laffont, this brutal death, although difficult to accept, seemed in line with what his father would have wished.”I wouldn’t have liked to see him leave in a hospital bed sick for months.“, he added, implying that Patrice Laffont would not have endured a long agony. For him, his father left “as he would have liked to leave”, peacefully and without prolonged suffering.
