4th in qualifying at midday, with a final time of 3’50”347 and an average speed of 46.886 km/h, she then won her duel for 3rd place, which pitted her against the German Maike Hausberger. The Swiss completed the course in 3’48”512 (47.262 km/h average), against 3’50”985 for her rival (46.756 km/h).

Flurina Rigling is taking part in her first Paralympic Games in Paris, having already won several world and European championship titles, both on the track and on the road.
