As part of the campaign for the elections to the Chamber of Agriculture in January, national elected officials from the National Federation of Farmers' Unions (FNSEA) and Young Farmers (JA) are going to meet farmers in the departments.
The alliance between the two unions, FNSEA and JA, is symbolized by the slogans “All together, we are agriculture” and “Let's vote for common sense”.
It was at the dairy farm of Armel Joubert, in Souvigny-de-Touraine, that the meeting of January 21, 2025 took place, in the presence of some of the candidates competing at the level of the department of Indre-et- Loire.
Nicolas Sterlin, vice-president of FNSEA 37 and head of the list, explains: “Our objective is to support farmers so that they improve their performance. Training and installation are the heart of the chamber. A new profile of farmers is taking shape, workers undergoing retraining. »
