Who are these supercentenarians who are over 110 years old and whose number is eight times higher in the West Indies than in ?

Émilienne Becarmin, 113 years old, was the oldest of Guadeloupe. She was buried this Tuesday. Died on January 15, she was recognized as the 3rd oldest person in . She had 5 children and 127 grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren. Émilienne was one of the supercentenarians. In 2022, according to the latest statistics, 39 people over the age of 110 died in France. A certain number were from the West Indies.

People aged over 110 are considered supercentenarians. The recent death of Emilienne Bécarmin caused the disappearance of France's 3rd supercentenarian.
