In Vendée, the Santa Claus motorcycle ride raised 4,500 euros

It's a habit every year since 2008. A little before Christmas, the Vendéens can see a little more than a thousand motorcycles, piloted by Santa Clauses, roaring on the roads of the department. An operation organized by the Asphalte 85 association to promote the image of the biker but an event which is also intended to be charitable, with donations donated.

After the ride organized on December 14, 2024, with a departure and arrival in La Roche-sur-Yon, Asphalte has presented a check for 4,500 euros to Marine Daviet, representative of the Pr1ncesse GRIN association. A donation will help finance part of the expensive care that her granddaughter Inès, who suffers from a rare genetic mutation called GRIN1, so badly needs.
