Pierre Denizet, head of the Laurentian media library, welcomed Nicole Yrle, co-author with Peel N'Guyen Thi Thât of a work entitled From one shore to the other! She presented it to the public during this literary meeting.
Travel and humanism
This essay, born from exchanges between the two women, offers the reader a humanist bridge between two cultures. Differences are questioned in many areas over the course of the twelve chapters illustrated by the photos and poems of Peel N'Guyen Thi Thât that Nicole Yrle exhibited to the present public. The two authors and protagonists of this journey bring with them their strong personalities and an acuity that feeds their curiosity. Lives and cultures beyond their truths offer the reader a sum of differences conducive to the idea of humanism, of a universality which echoes a message of hope to future generations.
Nicole Yrle, who excused Peel N'Guyen Thi Thât for his absence, dedicated this fascinating book to those interested.
