Great start for registrations. At the start of 2025, Syded, the departmental union which manages the treatment of household and similar waste in the Lot, is opening registrations for its QR Code. This new system will be gradually implemented on all of its sites in order to better “control traffic and waste brought to recycling centers. » However, if registration is open, it is not compulsory at this time. In fact, you will have to wait until next April for Syded employees to start asking you “systematically”.

Don't know how to get it? Nothing could be simpler. To register for the QR Code for access to the Syded recycling centers, simply go to the site set up by the union from this month of January 2025. You will then need to complete an online form with your personal information, such as your address, contact details, as well as proof of address less than 3 months old if you are an individual. Professionals must also register online by providing information specific to their status. If you do not have internet access, you can contact Syded by telephone on 05 65 21 61 63 to complete your registration by post, although this may take longer. Access control will be effective from April 2025, where presentation of the pass will become compulsory to access recycling centers.

In the meantime, the Syded du Lot assures that “Access control will not change the operation of your recycling center except that you will have to identify yourself to deposit your waste. Until then, you can continue to go to the recycling center as normal. » Finally note that: “Given the very large number of requests, processing times are currently extended. »
