In Orne, a new exotic boutique in a place steeped in history

This is a new step for the Cretan prestigewhich now has a store since December 11, 2024. In Messei (Orne), Maria Thalassinaki-Radoux, manager of the company, decided to set up the premises in the old cellars of Luchaire (today Forvia).

A building steeped in history

This choice was not made by chance: “It’s a building with a great history,” she explains, “IadmireI find it extraordinary. »

This dimension is very important for her, who grew up 500 meters from the Minotaur labyrinth, in Knossos. This canteen was a crush upon his arrival in the region in 2003.

We are simply in love with this building, because it really gives us the Franco-Cretan spirit, with lots of light. It is very warm, very friendly, like a home.

It has been 12 years since the company was created. “We started little by little, we spent all the steps, all capes. » She changed her status several times.

After starting with the Crescendo cooperative in Flers, it became an individual company, then, in 2022, a SARL. “We prepared it little by little for the opening of this maison. »

A link between Crete and Normandy

The aim of this place is to create a link between Crete and Normandy. According to Maria, there are people who come from far away to visit this store and discover the products, including olive oil, the flagship product.

“We have a platform ofe-commerce, we are present on marketplaces and are very active on social networks. We are hyper-specialized in what we do. »

It’s the place we wanted. We give him life again.

Before having this premises, Maria worked in the subdivision adjacent, in the basement. Hence the importance of Internet platforms to make your brand known. She held fairs and markets here and there.
