In Brie-Comte-Robert, the sports complex will be renovated for €8 million

The Briarde harmony orchestra, led by Claude Roytheir leader, first gave a concert during the public reception. The CM1 and CM2 students then took the stage for their first choir performance.

In the middle of the ceremony, the tricolor scarves were given to the very young elected representatives of the municipal children and youth councils. To reward her for these equestrian talents, 2023 French championshipsbronze medalist in aerobaticsand in 2024 for money, Eve Courteille received the city medal from Jean Laviolette.

Renovation of the Arthur-Chaussy sports complex

In terms of announced and expected projects, the first tranche of the renovation of the Arthur-Chaussy sports complexfor a better reception of athletes and a 90% reduction in energy consumption, to the tune of eight million euros, will be delivered, with completion of the project scheduled for early 2026. A health center, near from the Lucien-Destal stadiumwill be created with general practitioners, but also health professionals. In the coming months, a permit to rent in the private park will be put in place.

On the environmental side, the courses of the Moulin fleur school group will be planted with vegetation, with work in the summer and plantings in the fall, a third urban forest will be created to fight against the artificialization of soils, to promote the natural flow of waterand to create an island of freshness to combat climate change.

New skin for cinema

Elected officials are also planning the launch of a municipal civil security reserve with voluntary volunteers to be mobilized in support of public authorities in the event of a major event. Safer premises, better reception, and a new urban supervision center will strengthen the video protection of the municipal police.

On a cultural level, the cinema of the 4 winds will get a facelift by insulating it from the outside, installing a 4K laser projector, and modernizing the heating and air conditioning, as well as creating an educational space, and the La Fontaine cultural center will be renovated at 4^e quarter with the concert hall Le Potomak to ensure better accessibility.

On the roads, the renovation of the streets of Villemeneux and the roadway, as well as the sidewalks on Rue des Merisiers are planned, as well as the parking lot for the future health center.
