Update at 3:45 p.m.: La Motte Picquet – Grenelle station is reopened. Traffic resumes on line 6, but remains very disrupted.
It is not a serious personal accident but a plague that poisons the lives of metro travelers in Paris. Since 2 p.m. this Saturday, January 18, 2025, the La Motte Picquet – Grenelle station is no longer served due to “security measures” taken by the police headquarters. The RATP specifies that this is forgotten baggage.
Traffic partly interrupted on line 6
After more than an hour of closure of the station which serves three lines (6, 8, and 10), the choice was made to interrupt traffic on part of line 6 between Trocadéro and Raspail stations.
For now, traffic resumption is estimated at 4 p.m..
