Tuesday January 7 at 2 p.m. the general assembly of the 3rd age association took place in the village hall of Laramière. Martine Losada, president of the association, spoke for the office to thank all the members present, while thinking of the three people who died in 2024. All of them had been members for many years. A minute of silence was observed.
The association has around a hundred members (from several neighboring villages). The workshops, games and creative hobbies will continue from February. They will take place on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The main thing is to have a friendly time.
The walk will resume in February or March depending on the weather, on the first and third Friday of each month. Two meals are offered during the year, in spring and fall. In June 2024 and in November, 78 and 94 guests were present.
A survey is necessary to find out who will be interested in a day trip, morning show, cultural outings or visits to sites, monuments, castles… It's up to members to decide!
-The lottery will take place on Sunday January 26 at 2 p.m. in the village hall. A pancake event will take place on Tuesday February 11 with a surprise. For those who want to participate in the prizes, “this year we would preferably like food nets, gift cards, checks payable to the Amicale or cash which we will transform into vouchers. The other prizes will however be accepted. To facilitate the organization of the quine the offered lots must be delivered before Friday January 17th either to Eliette Masbou or to myself”, specifies Martine Losada.
Jean-Claude Guilhem, treasurer, presented the financial results of the association. For the office, this remains unchanged. Martine Losada thanked the members of the office for their valuable help. Then the questions and answers arose, before those present were invited to sit down at the table for a snack in order to properly commemorate the reunion.
