Public Square MEP Aurore Lalucq this week contacted the Audiovisual and Digital Communication Regulatory Authority (Arcom), the regulatory body for French audiovisual, accusing the social network X and its owner Elon Musk of manipulating algorithms , she announced Thursday January 9 on X.

The MEP contacted Arcom under the European regulation on digital services (DSA). “I realize that when I open X today, I see lots of tweets from Elon Musk, even though I didn’t ask to see these messagesshe explained Thursday evening on France Inter. Today, we don’t have much choice but to see them and that raises questions, when we see that there is a fairly ideological undertaking on the part of Elon Musk.”
