Since September 10, a substantial real estate program has been built in Carcassonne. In the Sabatier residence, two buildings are currently constructed. They should be able to accommodate around a hundred residents.
The number of inhabitants in Carcassonne seems to be increasing. According to demographic data made available by INSEE, between 2015 and 2021, the Aude capital went from 45,996 administered to 46,218 for an average density per inhabitant per km2 which moved from 706.8 to 710.2. Caroline Hermet, head of the works department at Marcou Habitat, the project owner, reveals more behind the scenes: “On the scene, interventions began on September 10.
