Richard-Toll, Dec 19 (APS) – The Higher Institute of Vocational Education (ISEP) of Richard-Toll (north) delivered, on Thursday, certificates of completion of training to some 310 learners including 160 girls trained in trades agriculture, livestock breeding, agri-food and agri-equipment, noted the APS.
“There are a total of 310 students to be certified in nine professions oriented towards four sectors, namely agriculture, livestock, agri-food and agro-equipment,” explained the director of ISEP of Richard- Toll, Pope Abdoulaye Diaw.
He was speaking during the graduation ceremony of the fourth promotion (2022-2024) of this institute. Mr. Diaw particularly highlighted the fact that “the economic activities developed in the northern zone correspond strictly to the trades taught in the ISEPs”.
“This is why, he suggested, it is necessary to guide this new policy to facilitate access for young people to jobs in the professional market.”
Pape Abdoulaye Diaw also called for the strengthening of ISEP with a view to “exploiting the enormous potential existing in the area to acquire and develop quality human capital”.
