For several years, the city of Saint-Laurent-du-Var has constantly improved its management of public finances. With in particular total dematerialization (from electronic signature to invoicing), optimized deadlines for payment of suppliers and rigorous monitoring of unpaid debts.
This strategic work is done in close collaboration with the Departmental Directorate of Public Finance (DDFIP) and the accounting management service of Cagnes-sur-Mer. A tripartite partnership commitment was signed this Wednesday, December 18 by Joseph Segura, mayor of Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Jean-Paul Catanese, departmental director of public finances of Alpes-Maritimes and Julien Hacquard, head of the accounting management service of Cagnes-sur-Mer.
The commitment will take effect on January 1, 2025 and will be concluded for a period of 3 years.
It is structured around four main axes:
– Facilitate the relationship and work between the authorizing officer and the accountant by developing and enriching exchanges,
– Improve the efficiency of procedures by optimizing the revenue chain and recovery and securing the expenditure chain,
– Offer better readability of accounts by improving accounting quality,
– Develop accounting, tax, financial and property expertise for managers.
Also present at this signing were Gilles Sollier, advisor to local decision-makers, Jean-Pierre Bernard, finance assistant, Jean-Michel Pignol, general director of services, Patricia Peillex, general director of finance, Julien Maurice, director of finance and public purchasing .
