Indeed, the 77-year-old British singer, who was named “icon of the year” by the prestigious Time magazine, indirectly attacked the Canadian Prime Minister in an interview with the American magazine.
He declared that the legalization of cannabis, in Canada and in certain American states, was “one of the biggest mistakes of all time”.
The latter made this comment when he returned to his consumption problems which he dragged on for many years.
“I reiterate that it is addictive and paves the way for other drugs. And when you’re frozen – and I was frozen – you don’t think normally anymore,” said the singer of numerous hits such as Your Song, Rocket Man et Tiny Dancer.
