At the end of her meetings with the President of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, marked by the signing of a parliamentary cooperation protocol, Ms. Braun-Pivet said she was “very happy to be able, with this agreement, show that our two parliaments will move forward hand in hand to better address the major challenges facing the two nations.”
This relationship of trust, work and friendship between the two parties is gaining new momentum, she noted, noting that it is an “extremely strong sign”.
And to add that “we each represent our populations, and we have the privilege of being able to establish long-term bonds of friendship, collaboration and work”.
Recalling the state visit to Morocco by President Emmanuel Macron at the invitation of HM King Mohammed VI and marked by the signing of the Declaration relating to the “Reinforced Exceptional Partnership” between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic French, Ms. Braun-Pivet specified that her visit is part of the desire to give a “parliamentary dimension” to this Partnership.
In this sense, she welcomed the conclusion of the cooperation protocol which opens a new page of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
