The Christmas market from to Elles at CMA30 kept its promises

The “ à Elles” Christmas Market, organized in partnership with the CMA Gard, was held on Tuesday December 10, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., within the premises of the CMA Gard. This event, free and open to all, allowed you to prepare your Christmas shopping with local and artisanal products.

The Christmas Market of the “Gard à Elles” association is the meeting place for local and responsible consumption, favoring products created with passion by regional artisans and producers. An ideal opportunity to find unique gifts and support the talents of our region. Supported by the Gard Chamber of Trades and Crafts, this event highlighted solidarity, proximity and creativity at the heart of the end-of-year celebrations.

A solidarity and local Christmas market

With more than 30 local exhibitors, this market highlighted artisans from the “Gard à Elles” network, as well as producers from the region. During the last annual Gard evening in Elles, members were able to start their purchases starting from artisanal creations: decoration, jewelry, clothing, accessories, art objects, etc., to gourmet products: regional specialties and homemade delights, on offer by food artisans. It was a success and everyone enjoyed making purchases far from the crowds and without any pressure.

In the afternoon, culinary workshops allowed you to discover festive and gourmet recipes, prepared by local artisans, and to savor authentic products in a friendly atmosphere.

The “Gard à Elles” association’s mission is to support and promote women entrepreneurs from Gard, by highlighting their talents and their projects. Through events and concrete actions, it strengthens the place of women in the local economy while promoting solidarity and links within its network. An agreement was signed between the president of Gard à Elles Nathalie Ponce and the president of CMA 30 Xavier Perret to continue this partnership between the two entities. Xavier Perret said he was “proud to welcome the Gard network to Elles and to sign a partnership agreement.” President Nathalie Ponce recalled on this occasion the benevolent side of the professional network created for women and by women.

This network started from an observation: “all women have something wonderful to share, we simply have to give them a space for that. Not all women find themselves in mixed or specific networks.” A network that sends positive messages and is an excellent way to develop relationships, discuss all kinds of issues, share your thoughts, help each other and move forward in a dynamic.
