This forum focuses on challenges and solutions related to the food system in Africa.
The main objective is to bring together diverse stakeholders, including government officials, non-governmental organizations, agricultural experts, business leaders, members of civil society, and scientists to discuss ways to improve food security, promote sustainable agricultural practices, and strengthen food systems in the face of climate change, conflict and economic crises.
The aim is to promote a sustainable and resilient food future for the continent.
Several key topics are covered such as agricultural innovation, including innovative technologies and practices that can increase agricultural productivity in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.
Food security and nutrition, namely how to find solutions to combat hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition which affect a significant part of the African population.
This forum will also address the importance of public policy and governance in promoting sustainable food systems that can meet the needs of Africa’s growing population.
