Representatives of three Cigales Mayennaises (Investors' Club for alternative and local management of solidarity savings) met on November 18, at the Naillière farm, around Jean-Pierre Rouzier, Renaud Guyard and Ronan Éon.
Jean-Pierre Rouzier, breeder, owner of the farm, retiring, Ronan Éon, farmer-baker, and Renaud Guyard, market gardener and breeder, have set up their activities there. For this they needed financial assistance.
The 3 Cigales (Pili Pili 2, Elans 2, and La CigaleS' Emballe) decided to lend them these funds, i.e. €7,500, to enable them to buy back Jean-Pierre Rouzier's agricultural equipment, shared. The two holders of projects, called “ants”, received their check and signed an agreement with each Cigales
This farm takeover was facilitated by the help of the Cigales network which are providers of funds and constitute a model of solidarity across the department between project leaders from all backgrounds and investor clubs.
