Violent winds: the and Haute- are on orange alert with gusts over 110km/h

At midday this Monday, November 25, Météo had already recorded gusts of 110km/h in Saint-Étienne and 106km/h in Puy-en-Velay. The and Haute-Loire are on orange alert until at least 6 p.m. this evening: the meteorological agency expects winds of 120 km/h this afternoon in the Gier valley and Pilat.

The major consequence of these violent winds is the interruption of rail traffic in the Loire this Monday at least until 4 p.m., a preventive measure from the SNCF.

Parks and gardens closed in several cities
