Hundreds of milk cartons sought in Gard: the reason is astonishing

The Telethon is back. This year, it will take place Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1 next, throughout France. In Uchaud, in the south of Gard, local associations such as the town hall are already mobilized.

Volunteers have a very specific idea of the challenge they want to achieve this year to help research against diseases.

For once, the volunteers from Gard have embarked on a pretty crazy challenge. They want to build a giant castlebut only….. with milk cartons ! It's not a jokenor an early April 1st.

Faced with the scale of the task awaiting them, the volunteers preferred to anticipate. They broadcast appeals to their fellow citizens on social networks. The objective is to collect between 1,800 and 2,000 cartons of milk.

Many collection points

But, not all bottles and other bricks are welcome. Volunteers have requirements . They will only collect washed, clean and empty milk cartons. Only traditional formats are accepted. No long or beveled bricks will be retained. THE soy milk bottlesare therefore to be avoided.

To achieve their goals before the launch of the essential Telethon 2024 the volunteers have planned numerous collection points for the sacrosanct cartons of milk.

Thus, the Uchaud town hall as well as the following leisure centers are provided to collect the containers:

• Aubais,
• Aigues-Vives,
• Boissières,
• Codognan,
• Gallargues-le-Montueux
• Mus,
• Nages-et-Solorgues,
• Vergèze.
