Between concerts, his 3e album Spark released in April 2024, the “Terminal Session” and “Eloquentia” events that he organizes… Greg Saillard doesn’t stop!
Never short of ideas or inspiration, he imagined a new unusual project combining two his passions: music… and hitchhiking. It is in March 2025 that he will take his pilgrim's staff to embark on this adventure which he could have called “I will rap at your place”, but which he ultimately baptized “30 days, 15 concerts, hitchhiking! ».
“Hitchhiking has become an integral part of my daily life”
Only 22 ansGreg Saillard is already well known to music lovers under his artist name No-Za, as he has performed on stages from one end of the Cotentin to the other. A kind of accomplishment when you have grew up in the Hague before living in the Val de Sairewhile recording his compositions in Tourlaville.
Between rap and song, like his 3e opus, his latest clip shot in the Biville dunes, Not the same anymorehas just been released on YouTube on November 19.
“His music is a clever mix of sharp punchlines, powerful beats and a touch of humor that hits the mark in each song,” summarizes his bio. With words that tell stories of daily life, of societyand personal challenges, No-Za reaches a large and diverse audience. »
Sharing his art beyond our regions, conquering the country in bars and other small venues, that is his driving force now. The dream will come true from 1is to March 29 during an unusual thumbs-up tour of France, punctuated by around fifteen concerts (in Rennes, Metz, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Toulon, Dunkirk, Marseille, Nice…).
Hitchhiking has always been much more than a simple means of transport for me. It’s a true philosophy of life. Whether for my work, my projects, seeing my friends, or joining a stage for a concert, hitchhiking has become an integral part of my daily life.
As the kilometers go by, Greg expects new unforgettable encounters. “Sometimes, these impromptu trips have even opened unsuspected doors for me, allowing me to secure concert dates or seize opportunities. What touches me in this approach is the human aspect. Sharing, exchanges, stories let's tell each other on the road… Everything I seek to convey through my music. »
Antoine de Maximy in I will go and sleep at your placeNans and Mouts the heroes of Naked and cheekythese are examples that the young artist will follow. Because yes, the project also includes filming with a cameraman friend in order to produce a 52-minute documentary. “It’s a human adventure that I want to share with the public. Each meeting and each performance will be an opportunity to create memorable memories. Especially since I planned to knock on doors to sleep with locals. A plate of pasta and a sofa for the night in exchange for a mini-concert in their living room! »

Such a production necessarily has a cost: the larger the budget, the more professional the result will be, particularly to be screened in cinemas. Ideally, Greg Saillard would like to raise €20,000 to pay the cameraman for 30 days, pay for the rental of the equipment (camera, sound, lighting), amortize production costs… “I'm approaching communities, and I've just launched a participatory prize pool on the site onparticipe.fr. »
On the day of departure, this will give way to a second prize pool for the benefit of Rêves Manche. “I will promote the association during the Tour de France, by encouraging the people I meet to make a donation, but also in the media and on Instagram, during my live stories and lives at 6 p.m. This will be an opportunity to take a daily update on my journey, my challenges, the highlights, the meetings, the cultural facets of each region and the anecdotes of the day. I will answer questions to involve my subscribers in this collective exploration of the country. » Like an interactive logbook which promises to be fascinating.
