From November 18 to 24, Industry Week takes place in Ardèche. This national event, started in 2011offers a unique opportunity to discover careers in the industrial sector. Many educational activities are organized: company visits, job dating, career forums, web conferences, etc.
The objective? Encourage vocationsparticularly among young people, and strengthen the attractiveness of a sector suffering from a negative image, yet providing innovative jobs. In Ardèche, the initiative is taking a local dimensionwith the active involvement of local businesses. Particular importance is also given to promoting diversity in professions, highlighting the place women in the industry.
For young Ardèche residents, this week is a chance to learn about the many existing sectors and training courses. By meeting professionals and discovering inspiring career paths, they can envision a future in a dynamic, constantly evolving sector, where career opportunities are multiple and varied.

In the Drôme, 110 events are labeled “industry week”. Among the industrial gems, the STRUCTA company in Beaumont-lès-Valence which focuses on “made in France” to develop its soundproof cabins. Other flagships of the Drôme economy will be promoted during this week such as the paper manufacturer Saica located in Laveyron or EAC in Bourg-de-Péage, a company specializing in luxury metal ornaments and parts .
The previous edition of the industry week broke a record with 2.2 million participants in France gathered around 5,500 events.
Meetings in Tournon-sur-Rhône:
Thursday, November 21 at 2 p.m.visit to the Cosmopar company. Presentation of the company and visit to the production site, followed by job interviews.
Friday, November 22 at 9 a.m.factory truck of the UIMM (Union of Metallurgical Industries and Trades), in the parking lot of the France Travail Tournon agency, 123 imp Olympe de Gouges.
