In (Val-d'Oise), the municipal police station was enlarged by 300 square meters.

It now offers a room for video surveillance. This is a transfer of images arriving in the intercommunal Urban Supervision Center (CSU) of Val Parisis.

The City, like that of -sur-Seine, wishes to have the hand to allow its municipal police officers to act more quickly, because they know, in principle, the terrain better than the intermunicipal video operators. The police station also houses a newsroom, showers, changing rooms, and a new gym.

Renovation

During the extension project, the City took the opportunity to carry out energy renovation work: insulation of the walls and roof, LED lighting, new ventilation, etc.

The cost of this operation amounted to 4.3 million euros including tax with participation from the Department, the Region and the Val-d'Oise prefecture.

The municipal police station currently accommodates 40 agents including 3 Asvp (Public highway surveillance agents), but “the objective is to have 42 municipal police agents in order to create a new brigade in order to extend the hours”, explains the mayor (Dvd) Xavier Melki.
