Heavy goods vehicles banned

Given the deterioration of traffic conditions and weather forecasts, a prefectural order prohibiting the circulation of heavy goods vehicles on the departmental network has been issued.

School transport suspended

“School transport will be suspended Friday morning. »

State services will reassess the situation this Friday “first thing in the morning depending on weather conditions”.

The Region has decided to maintain the suspension of school and commercial transport lines in the five Normandy departments, Friday November 22, until 12 p.m.

Regarding commercial lines in the Region, a partial recovery is also hoped for tomorrow afternoon, following a situation update which will take place at the end of the morning.

Buses will run

Please note that some buses will run this Friday, November 22. In Saint-Lô, for example, Slam school buses remain suspended. On the other hand, the Slam buses & TAD are maintained, even if disruptions are expected.

For its part, Cap Cotentin will not operate school circuits or lines S1 to S14 all morning of Friday November 22, 2024.

Regular lines (1 to 8 and A to G) and Cap Cotentin network services (Cap à lademande and Cap access) will operate but may be impacted by weather conditions.

Due to the increased risks of accidents, the prefecture recommends:

– anticipate your trips;

– adapt your speed;

– increase safety distances;

– respect the traffic restrictions and diversions put in place;

– avoid falls by salting the roads and clearing the sidewalks near your home.
