A creation by one of the greatest contemporary French artists exhibited in Essonne

The inhabitants of Nozay (Essonne) will soon have the opportunity to see up close a work by one of the greatest French artists of recent years. The Blue Bear Samsa statue created by Richard Orlinski in 2016, will in fact be exhibited on the site of the town's media library between Saturday November 23, 2024 and Saturday February 8, 2025, reports News Essonne Thursday November 21, 2024.

A superstar of contemporary

The presence of the massive and colorful sculpture measuring 2.80 m high was made possible by the Departmental Contemporary Art Fund of Essonne, which lent it without compensation to the municipality. Richard Orlinski, known for his pop style, is the French visual artist whose creations have been the best-selling in the world since 2015.

The imagined statue of the 58-year-old Parisian sculptor will not be the only one to be exhibited to the public at the Nozay media library, indicates the local media. Works created by members of the Municipal Youth Service and by the artist Bisk, originally from Essonne, will also be visible. To find out more: Read the article News Essonne
