LNegotiations to form the future Brussels executive are not completely at a standstill. The three French-speaking partners of the future coalition, which are the MR, the PS and Les Engagés, are finalizing discussions linked to Cocof. This body, which remains mysterious to the general public, regulates a series of matters related to French-speakers in the capital. Dutch-speaking trainer and outgoing Minister of Mobility Elke Van den Brandt (Groen) is currently exploring the possibility of a quadripartite composed of Vooruit, the Open VLD and the N-VA. These four teams have agreed to meet again this Thursday. Nearly six months after the regional election, political actors are still seeking the composition of the future majority. Concluding with certainty of an imminent epilogue for this interminable saga that is the Brussels negotiations, however, remains premature in view of the numerous episodes observed since June.
