Radio 8 Ardennes | Ardennes: 300 volunteers on deck for the annual Food Bank collection

Every year, on the last weekend of November, Food Banks organize their national collection in stores throughout France. This year, it will take place in the Ardennes on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 November. This weekend of solidarity is the only moment during which Orange Vest volunteers appeal to the generosity of the general public. In the Ardennes, 350 volunteers will be on deck during these two days of collection to collect food and hygiene products. In this period of crisis when beneficiaries are calling on associations, the Food Bank plays a very important role. Last year 45 tonnes of food were harvested.
