These achievements carried out by the municipality mark the desire to preserve local services which play an essential role in the dynamism of the village.

Fuel 7 days a week

The service station on rue du Viaduc offers continuous service. Opened in June 2023, located at a strategic point in the town, it meets a need of residents, now offering 24/7 access, guaranteeing the availability of fuel without requiring travel to neighboring towns. A barn turned butchery

The total amount of the investment amounts to €270,000 excluding tax. To finance this project, subsidies were granted: state aid (DETR) representing 29.42% of the budget, or €79,470, as well as support of €40,000 from the departmental council, or 14.81% of the budget. total amount. The butcher's shop is the revival of a local business. This is the other flagship project of the municipality, which invested €495,000 excluding tax to set up premises in a municipal barn requiring a complete renovation of the place. This butcher shop replaces a business which closed its doors in 2022. The project benefited from several subsidies: €30,000 from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, €30,000 from the departmental council, €115,860.50 from the State (via the DETR), and €77,499.44 from the State also (via DSIL). Christophe Sénégas, the new butcher, took charge of the interior design of the premises.

The butchery officially opened its doors on October 25, offering residents a wide choice of products.

The financiers who supported these projects were warmly thanked by the municipality for their valuable contribution. In addition to the subsidies obtained, the municipality took out a loan of €150,000 to finance these two structuring projects, thus demonstrating its commitment to the revitalization of its town center and its commercial fabric in order to meet the needs of its population.

On this occasion, the mayor, Marc Ditlecadet also wanted to recall the notable developments that the town of Saint-Germain-les-Belles has experienced this year in terms of local businesses. Among the changes, the bakery was taken over by Baptiste and Antoine Mayne, the Vival grocery store changed hands with the arrival of Éric and Sylvie Lefa, the bar-tabac-press was taken over by Laëtitia Puzio and Anthony Lachatte and a new entrepreneur in the field of beauty and well-being has opened her business in collaboration with the nail salon “Le RDV des Beautés” in the same premises.
