The broad outlines of the program were revealed recently, during a meeting between elected officials and representatives of traders from Saint-André-de-l'Eure (Eure).
“The Christmas market will be held from December 6 to 8 at the Mère-Michel space. New this year, the festival committee and the Gaîté club will offer a ride on a little tourist train through the streets of the city. A fireworks show will be organized around the town hall on Saturday December 21.
Like last year, the ice rink will be installed at the Mère-Michel space, from December 18 to January 5.
A 'real' commercial fortnight
The new commercial union brings together around thirty traders who will offer a real commercial fortnight in a musical atmosphere, with outdoor chalets for artisans and representatives of the local region, manual and creative activities dedicated to children, balloon sculptures, pony rides, a distribution of snacks and the essential photos with Santa Claus.
“There will also be a major original game in participating businesses, with numerous prizes to be won, including a surprise jackpot,” smiles Olivia Guillotinethe president of the Andrésian commercial union.
