In Cherbourg, 21 port agents were honored for their work

Ce Tuesday November 12, 2024at the end of the morning, in the André-Michel lounge of the maritime station, 21 port agentsfrom the July 2024 class, received a medal for their work for more than 20 years at the port of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin (Manche).

Among them, Séverine Jean, operations manager of the fishing port, stood out from the crowd. Arrival at the Cherbourg tide hall on 1is September 1998it was first decorated with the silver medal for his 20 years of good and loyal service.

Knight of the Order of Maritime Merit

Then, under the leadership of some of her colleagues, the one which became the director of the auction in January 2018 was awarded an honorary distinction “for her work and her involvement”, underlines Bertrand Marsset, deputy director of Ports de Normandie.
