Traffic is disrupted this Tuesday morning around Poitiers. National 147 is closed in both directions following an accident involving a heavy goods vehicle. There is diesel on the road, the authorities are cleaning it up for reopening.
Diversions put in place
The axis is closed between the RN 149 and the Migné-Auxances interchange. Diversions are in place. Vehicles coming from Deux-Sèvres, at the Moulinet roundabout, must take the RD30 towards Poitiers to join the RD910, then follow the direction of Limoges. For those coming from Loudun, at the Roche au Chat roundabout, it is advisable to take the direction of Migné-Auxances then join the RN147 at the Migné-Auxances roundabout.
In the opposite direction, vehicles coming from Limoges must turn right at the Migné-Auxances roundabout then continue towards Neuville-de-Poitou via the RD347. In Neuville, at the Mavault roundabout, vehicles must turn left towards Vouillé via the RD62.
According to the prefecture, traffic could be restored to a single lane around 8 a.m. in the Poitiers/Deux-Sèvres direction. You will have to wait until the middle or even the end of the morning for the Deux-Sèvres/Loudun direction towards Poitiers.
