In , 64 table players compete in the first round of the South Finistère Youth Circuit

Saturday November 9, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Cornouaille Table (QCTT) hosted the first round of the South Finistère Youth Circuit. With 64 participants born in 2014 or later, this day of discovery and awareness was an unprecedented success, probably boosted by the enthusiasm generated by the Lebrun brothers, rising figures in French table tennis. In comparison, only 22 table tennis players were present at the same meeting last season.

The Youth Circuit, designed to introduce fair play to the competition, includes four stages, including the final scheduled for June 2025. Saturday's event, supervised by Julien Nicol, QCTT referee, and regional referee Anne Droalen , also a member of the club, allowed many children to compete in real matches, while having fun.

Among the competitors, we noted the presence of eight young table tennis players from Quimper, perhaps inspired by the Lebrun brothers and by the women's Pro A team of Quimper CTT which will face Argentan on Tuesday November 12 in its venue, Avenue Yves Thépot. Table A was won by a local player Hugo Gourmelin.
