“Some difficulties and twists and turns”

It's official, after 5 months of work, Aldi has opened its new store, which took the place of the old Silo (belonging to the Pechiney industrial group). Excellent news for the municipality: “I have several reasons to rejoice, declared Alain Sutra, the mayor of the city, the first is that you participate in the dynamism of the territory, it is also the beautification of the northern entrance to the city. The Silo had its history, but it lasted too long […]. And finally, you create jobs by hiring 3 additional people, without forgetting the next ones who will be created by the buyer of your old premises, that adds up and is a great satisfaction. » A mutual satisfaction, insists Laure Chauvière, the technical manager of the group: “Aldi and Tarascon-sur-Ariège, it’s a story that has lasted since 2005. In this new project, we have experienced some difficulties and twists and turns, and in that I thank the Mayor and his entire team for their unfailing and very valuable support, because without you, clearly nothing would have been possible. »

The store team is delighted with their new premises.
