First plenary this Thursday, November 7 of the committee, led by the Einstein high school. Objectives: network the territory, develop existing partnerships, discuss orientation and training projects… for all sectors of professional activity, from culture to health, from defense to the agri-food industry.
CLEE for Local Schools-Business Committee. There are around thirty across the Academy. That of Gard Rhone and Uzège has just been born, this Thursday, November 7, at the Einstein high school, during a plenary assembly led by the two co-pilots of this body: Thierry Delaigue, principal of the Einsten high school, and Julien Feja, CEO of the D&S group. And this in front of around forty institutional and business representatives, and school directors. Einstein High School is the bearer of this instance. “This CLEE dynamic has been accelerated by the will of the academic rector and the Dasen du Gard”indicated Thierry Delaigue in the preamble.
A first concrete tool for setting up student internships in companies
“The effective Careers Campus is an integral part of it. The idea is that this body is more global, and is one more step in this school-business link, for all sectors (agri-food, tourism, health, culture, chemistry, defense, viticulture, institutions, etc.). The idea is that each sector of activity has a representative on this committee. summarized Julie Feja. Among the objectives, “to network the territory, develop existing partnerships, discuss orientation and training projects, carry out actions linked to Parcours futur. The notion of network is important, particularly for the implementation of internships”, presented Thierry Delaigue. The CLEE is supported by the Regional Academic Directorate for initial and continuing professional training and apprenticeship (DRAFPICA). ” The school has evolved a lot in recent years. On the territory, the Campus has carried out a lot of work, initially for sensitive environments, and beyond.” In the Rhone Gard, the business world is also well structured and in action to support young people. “There are already a lot of actions in the territory. We invited you today to tell you that each recruiting body can have a place to speak, and that National Education listens to them. Let no body say : “I have no answers from the school regarding my needs.”
Julien Feja and Thierry Delaigue presented a first concrete tool (and complex to create) which aims to facilitate the implementation of student internships in companies, by class, period, sector of activity, etc.“a very good example of what CLEE can do”.
Another tool, a collaborative platform where all CLEE members and stakeholders will be able to share information. The catchment area covered by this committee has 11,000 students (primary schools included).
