the Advance Competition displays its ambitions for 2025

The Advance Competition, a post-baccalaureate admission portal bringing together four major engineering schools (EPITA, ESME, IPSA and SUPBIOTECH), draws up a positive assessment of its 2024 recruitment session and announces major new features for 2025.

Strong growth in recruitment in 2024

For the year 2024, the Advance Competition recorded a significant increase in post-baccalaureate admissions, confirming the growing attractiveness of the engineering schools to which it offers access to students wishing to integrate innovative and promising courses.

2025: a year full of new features

With EPITA, ESME and SupBiotech, the Advance competition has already opened the doors to 3 engineering schools in . We must now add the IPSA, an engineering school specializing in the fields of aeronautics and spaceā€¦ Approved by the Engineering Qualifications Commission (CTI), the IPSA will allow Lyon students to access to excellent training focused on aeronautics, space and innovative transport directly in their region.

Four engineering schools in synergy in the Vaise district, the technological heart of Lyon

The four schools of the Advance Competition will gather in the dynamic district of Lyon Vaise, a booming sector recognized for its technological growth and its attractiveness to innovative companies. The 4 schools will work in close proximity and will soon be joined by the major management school, ISG. This new study and research space will encourage collaboration with businesses in the region.

After 2024, which saw EPITA and IPSA come together in in a brand new building, this new merger clearly outlines a new policy for the schools of the IONIS Education Group: proximity, synergy, regional anchoring, shared innovation for offer businesses in the region an exceptional platform in terms of research and human potential.

Advance competition: an umbrella brand

From the 2024-2025 campaign, the Advance Competition becomes an umbrella brand which will bring together several recruitment pathways under the labels Advance post-bac, Parallel advance, Advance prep et Advance bachelor. This structuring makes it possible to clarify the offer for candidates and their families, while promoting the diversified courses offered by the group's schools to meet the expectations and aspirations of each individual.

A renewed charter and a modernized website

To improve the candidate experience and simplify their orientation process, the Advance Competition will unveil a new charter at the end of 2024 as well as a modernized website. These dynamic tools, designed to meet the expectations of future students, reflect the innovative and committed spirit of the Competition.

The Advance Competition is the only post-baccalaureate competition for engineering schools to offer each candidate the opportunity for an individual motivational interview, allowing them to highlight their vocation, their personality as well as their results and their initiatives.
