A film about Bernard Lambert, legendary figure of peasant struggles in -Atlantique

On the occasion of the forty years of the disappearance of Bernard Lambert, the Confédération paysanne de -Atlantique, the Cinématographe and the Scala network are offering to see or rewatch the film that director Christian Rouaud (César for best documentary in 2012 for All in Larzac) dedicated to him in 2002: Peasant and rebel, a portrait by Bernard Lambert.

The CinéToiles de Retz has scheduled a special screening for Thursday in the presence of the director who will present his film and interact with the public at the end of the screening.

By retracing the life of Bernard Lambert, a legendary figure in the peasant struggles of the West and the Peasant Workers movement, this film goes back to the sources of today's peasant protest. It is also the portrait of a militant generation, because the story of Bernard Lambert is told by his fellow fighters, his wife, his friends from the JAC, his comrades from the PSU and the Peasant Workers. A story in several voices which is at the same time biography, historical fresco and the history of ideas.

Thursday, November 7, at 8:30 p.m., at CinéToiles de Retz, Chaudron shopping center. Usual prices, reservation possible on www.cinemapornic.fr.
