REPORTAGE – As in every American election for 100 years, the oldest cocktail bar in Europe is organizing a fictitious vote for Americans expatriated or on vacation in . In a century, the result has only differed from the official vote three times.

Red cap on his head, Tom wears a broad smile as he hesitantly slips a ballot into the ballot box, under the amused eye of his partner Megan. The couple from Minnesota, on vacation in , have just voted for Kamala Harris. The setting, however, has nothing to do with an embassy. In the background, great Scottish whiskeys sit in a window: a Macallan from 1991, an 18-year-old Glenlivet… Behind, a mahogany bar polished by thousands of elbows stands below an imposing mirror where the name of the two candidates for the American presidential election associated with a number is written: Kamala Harris – 360 and Donald Trump – 383.
