Bruno Marchetti, mayor of Tillé for 21 years, died at 85

An urban community whose creation and birth Bruno Marchetti was able to see on the 1is January 2004, he who was a construction engineer for the Brézillon company at the time of construction in 1964 of Tower H of the Saint-Jean district in (city where he “all built” as he told us), even before becoming the 9e vice president in 2017.

“Bruno Marchetti knew the inhabitants of his town perfectly”

“In addition to being mayor of a key commune in Beauvaisis, Bruno was an elected official who did not leave anyone indifferent, remembers Olivier Paccaud. Talkative, colorful… He was an “old-fashioned” elected official, with a very strong eloquence and who knew the inhabitants of his commune perfectly. »

The senator then remembers his visits to the Tillé flea market, notably alongside Olivier Dassault. Time during which “Bruno Marchetti called the exhibitors by their first names. He even knew those of several members of their families. »

Close to his fellow citizens, Bruno Marchetti also received the insignia of knight of the National Order of Merit from Caroline Cayeux, then mayor of Beauvais, for his action within the French Red Cross in addition to having been decorated with the internal security medal.

“Involved and passionate elected official, he worked a lot for Beauvaisis, of which he was one of the pillars, but also for his commune which he knew how to develop and grow, insists Caroline Cayeux, president of the Agglo. He is a warm, whole, very kind and delightful man who leaves us, leaving us with beautiful memories and a lot of sadness. »

He was also a regular at the Miss Oise elections: “The committee will forever remember his good humor, his great generosity and kindness. » Bruno Marchetti thus joins his wife, Colette, who also died in her 85e year on November 20, 2022. The funeral of the former mayor of Tillé will be held at the village church on Friday November 8 at 2 p.m.
