Only three days left until we know who will be staying at the White House. In this post-media era, the battle rages on social networks as the deadline approaches. Several misleading videos have emerged and some are attributed to Russia.

For the two candidates for the White House, the campaign is taking place online. Social networks set the tone: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X… It's who will gather the most followers. This campaign takes place in a post-media manner. Before, electoral strategy was media, today it is digital. There is no longer a question of speaking time like during the debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Between the candidates, anything goes, beyond official declarations, with the help of conspiracy theories and accusations of all kinds. The American secret services accuse Russia of interference and of being behind false videos. In a video posted by Donald Trump supporter Elon Musk, owner of the X platform, we hear the voice of Kamala Harris repeating false information in a loop. The video has been viewed 135 million times. This is not the only video created by AI to taint this campaign.
