Halloween night was short-lived for this Dutch couple! The Ardennes gendarmes flashed them with binoculars at over 203 km/h on highway 304, near Châtelet-sur-Sormonne, towards Rethel. Their vehicle had to be immobilized and their driving license revoked.
Despite a heavy fine, Batman and Catwoman keep smiling
However, the check with the gendarmerie took place calmly. Rather than getting angry, the two superheroes for one night even agreed to pose with their Halloween masks behind the wheel of their Porsche.
Despite their good humor, the Batmobile will be immobilized at the Charleville-Mézières pound, until a deposit is paid. They will also have to pay a fixed fine of €750 for their speeding violation.
Batman's driving license is now in the hands of the prefecture… He risks being banned from driving on French roads for the next three years. The supervillains are rubbing their hands…
