Low clouds of maritime origin also settled in from the early hours around the Gulf of Lion. In the afternoon they reach a good part of the PACA region and Languedoc, driven by a south-east wind reaching 50 to 60 km/h.

Maximum temperatures are between 14 and 17 degrees from Brittany, and Hauts de France, from 24 to 26 south of the Garonne, from 20 to 24 in the rest of the country. During the night from Monday to Tuesday, the rains which affected the north-west of the country shift towards the south-east, but will be weak.

Soft, but wet, the Tarn in the wind

This overall mildness occurs in a context where many departments experience humid days. Like Finistère, on yellow alert for rain and floods (like 13 other departments from Brittany to -Pas-de-) but also for “waves and submersion”, the swell remaining strong on the Atlantic coast with storm Ashley but also , this weekend because of the high tides.

Due to the latest rains, 18 departments remain on yellow flood alert in the northwest and north of the Massif Central, plus Landes, and Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

Finally, Tarn will be the only department on yellow alert for the wind.
