“I invite the Senegalese here and in the diaspora to show compassion and solidarity towards the populations of the regions of Kédougou, Tambacounda, Matam and Saint-Louis, affected by the floods,” declared the religious guide in French. pulaar.

“It is necessary for the Senegalese to mobilize to help these populations who are going through difficult times and who need everyone’s help. These populations need food, medicine, mattresses, clothes,” listed the religious guide.

He invites people wishing to respond to this call for solidarity to go to the various mosques in Dakar to give their contribution, in particular to the Omarian mosque and the Massalikoul Djinane mosque, or to other places of worship in the interior of the country. .

Thierno Madani, whose remarks were translated into French for journalists, invited businessmen in particular to mobilize around this moment of national solidarity.
